How to create a group ?

Android: While in chatlist, tap on the "Tawasal" icon at the bottom of your app, then tap on Plus (+). On the new page tap on "New Group", select contacts, tap on yellow arrow (>). Select Group name and avatar. Tap on checkmark (✓). You group has been created. iOS: Start a new message, by tapping the icon on the top right corner in Chats. In the new window, tap on "New Group", select contacts, tap on "Next". Select Group name and avatar. Tap on "Create". Your group has been created. Desktop: Click on the icon at the upper left corner of your app. Click on "New Group", select Group name and avatar, click on "Next", select contacts, click on "Create". Your group has been created.

Contacts not found in Tawasal even though they have been registered with Tawasal ?

First of all, check if your contacts have been synchronized: Android: Go to "Settings" by tapping on the button at the upper left corner of you app. Tap on "Privacy and Security". Make sure that "Sync Contacts" button is on. iOS: Go to "Settings". Tap on "Privacy and Security", then tap on "Data Settings". Make sure that "Sync Contacts" button is on. Right now it's available to create contacts in +971 format. Currently we are reworking synchronization in 00971 format.

How to invite contacts ?

Android: Go to "Settings" by tapping on the button at the upper left corner of you app. Tap on "Contacts", then tap on "Invite Friends". On the new page you can either choose your Contacts and invite them via SMS, or you can tap on "Share Tawasal", choose another method and share Tawasal via other application or e-mail. iOS: Tap on the "Contacts" at the bottom of your app, then tap on "Invite Friends". In the new window you can either choose your Contacts and invite them via SMS, or you can tap on "Share Tawasal", choose another method and share Tawasal via other application or e-mail. If you share Tawasal via SMS, invites will be charged as regular outgoing SMS by your carrier, unless you sent via iMessage. You can give your friends twl.ae link with your username so that they can find you on Tawasal, if they don't have your phone number.

How to logout from the app ?

Most users don't need to log out of Tawasal, you can use Tawasal on many devices at the same time. Android: Go to "Settings" by tapping on the button at the upper left corner of you app. Tap on "...", then tap on "Log out" iOS: Go to "Settings". Tap on "Edit", then tap on "Log Out".

How to use two accounts in one app ?

This feature isn't available in current version of Tawasal mobile app. We are working on it.

How to delete my account ?

Android: Go to settings, Click on the three dots, Click on Logout, Delete the Account. iOS: Go to settings on the app, click on Edit, Click on Logout, Delete the Account

How can I hide my number from other users ?

Right now only people who added you to their contactlist can see your number. Feature of hiding your phone number isn't available in current version of Tawasal mobile app. We are working on it.
